Some friends and I are planning on going to a concert at The Masquerade in Atalanta next Month.The Venue’s adress is 695 North Avenue NE
Atlanta, GA 30308. We’ll be getting on the train at the Hamilton E Holmes station and taking the train into the city. What station should we get off at close to the venue? Should we take a bus? We’re pretty much rookies at navigating the city so we would appreciate some help.
MARTA trains don’t go near the Masquarade. The closest train station would be North Ave. (near Ponce) after that it’s a 1.5 mile walk straight down North Ave to the venue.
I doubt if any buses will be running late night after the show but you can check the MARTA website to see if any routes get you closer to the club then the train does.
If you dont’ want to walk you can always take a cab to the venue from the Marta station.
One more very important thing to consider. MARTA does not run late into the night. This concert may be over well past the time the MARTA trains stop running. You better be checking the show schedule and comparing it to the train schedule to make sure you have enough time to get back home.
