Is it okay to put Vit E oil on a new piercing?

I got my naval pierced 3 weeks ago now, and i have only been doing the sea salt/antibacterial washes 2x’s a day, and my skin is still starting to get very dry around the piercing. Is it okay to use vitamin E right from the gel caps on/around the piercing?

    The answer to this question is going to be different for every person and every piercing. You should really ask your piercer. He or she shouldn’t mind answering any follow-up questions you have to getting pierced. You can call or go in and have them see for themselves. Always ask the professional. Never trust what people tell you online.

    Especially for healing piercings
    I’ve use Vitamin E oil from the pills on all my piercings. It nourishes the skin and moisturizes.

    When my 2nd lobe was healing I used vitamin E oil on it to help it along and it helped heal it faster, and i use it to moisturize my stretched (6g) lobes.
