I’m not looking for anything fancy or gourmet! But rather just like the stuff I could buy from the local convienence store back when I live in Southern California. I love those cocnut bars but don’t know what they are called!

    Unfortunately, alot of candy from Mexico is not allowed to be sold in the US because of high levels of lead:

    You should check out your local mexican grocery stores or the small family owned restaurant/taqueria, they normally sell coconut bars and other homemade type candy.
