    Work = Force x Distance

    So in this case you will need to turn the 1000kg into a force. To do that you just multiply the Weight by Gravity. So 1000 x 9.81 = 9810N

    Therefore, w = f x d, so w = 9810 x 100 = 981000 Joules.

    Been looking at my notes and Power = work / time.

    So: p = 981000/50 = 19620 watts.

    F = 1000kg * g
    d = 100m
    Work = 9.81 x 10^5 J

    Power = Work/t
    = 9.81 x 10^5 J / 50 s
    = 1.962 x 10^4 W
