I have a 12 week old kitten and was wondering if anyone knew about how much it’s going to cost to get his necessary shots and get him checked up? I don’t have pet insurance.

For the physical it will probably be around $30-$60 and for the shots it will probably be around $40-$60 at a low cost clinic or $70-$100 at a traditional veterinarian. Also you should neuter him at about 4 months old so he doesn’t develop the behavior problems associated with sexual maturity(spraying, fighting roaming) and so he won’t reproduce. That would be around $30-$50 at a low cost clinic and $50-$100 at a traditional vet.
pet insurance doesn’t cover shots anyway. there are clinics that places like petco or petsmart or even the animal shelter has that have low cost vaccinations call them. and they also have vets there ask them
Call a local vet. Sometimes you can even take them to the no more homeless pets mobiles for checkups. Just call a vet, I know that my vet visits cost around 40 dollars, and then usually like 10 or so more for their shots…
call all ur local vet offices and check. For me it cost 35 dollars for checkup and 40 dollars for shots and they deworm them for free at my clinic and a lil advice get them neutered boy or girl especally if u do not want 20 or 30 cats and male like to spray stinks really bad and getting them fixed helps cut all that down. my male cat cost me 50 dollar to get fixed. i think it cost a lil extra for females.
I would call around your local area and ask, they will be more than willing to give you that information. I live in Florida and I just took my 16 week old kitten for his second round of shots. The first visit was 68 and this one was 35. It costs a little more if they have worms and need medication. Most babies have worms.
