2 year old Maltipoo ate half a chocolate donut. What should I do?

My little maltipoo just licked the chocolate frosting off half my donut. Will he be okay or should I take him to the pet hospital? I have insurance for him, but I want to know if its worth the 30 min drive just to here them say he’ll be fine.

    he’ll be okay just make sure he has water my dog ate a bunch of hershey kisses once he is fine

    take it to the vet it might catch worms
